Gen. Sessions has been bashed up one side and down the other in hundreds of FR threads over the last 12 months. I can’t recall seeing anybody’s defending him on FR.
And now, on this thread, Ole Jeff is practically a hero — plus a martyr and victim to boot.

A good number of people have defended him on FR.
Success is everyone’ favorite son, failure is an orphan.
And this is OLD news...and you can bet it was set in play by Comey and McCabe.
There is a fair number of us. One or two are regularly vocal about it, I think most of us just don't bother - nobody's mind is going to be changed based on an internet argument.
Not to me. I read Sundance. I don’t care. Sessions is an Institutionalist, not a Constitutionalist.
At best, he wants to clean up his beloved institutions on the down low, then move on. Minimize exposure of DC criminality.
Did he serve his Oath by defending rule of law and due process for Cliven Bundy, an American citizen? No, the opposite. He defended the Federal criminals who persecuted him. Bundy is not a Swamp Creature, and thus does not matter.
Different laws for him and his colleagues, even if he disapproves of them.
Worst case: blackmail, bribery, threat.
