Next 24-48 hours should be interesting, and they will set the template for how much information we’ll receive. After the Vegas massacre, the shooter was identified as Stephen Paddock and then...almost nothing. Six months later, we’re still waiting for details on his motive, potential accomplices, even surveillance footage of Paddock carrying his arsenal into his hotel room. And don’t hold your breath waiting for more information; it seems clear that Paddock was part of a wider conspiracy that no one wants to reveal.
The Austin bomber has now been identified as 24-year-old Anthony Conditt. Let’s see how much we learn about him in the days to come.
