I read once that the only way to stop your cellphone from tracking (and,IIRC,transmitting) its location is to remove the battery.what I read said that turning it off isn't enough.
I'll keep this in mind if I ever turn to a life of crime...or become known as a dangerous critic of today's Rat Party.
