What a stupid title.
The Confederate mind was far more concerned with limiting the power of the central government, limiting tariffs to 10% (there was no income tax), requiring a balanced budget, banning corporate welfare, ensuring a narrow reading of the general welfare clause so as to eliminate pork barrel spending, imposing term limits on politicians and ensuring that government derived its legitimacy from the consent of the governed as stated in the Declaration of Secession (Independence being another word for it) from the British Empire.
As for flaming racism, welcome to the mid 19th century. That was to be found the world over at that time most definitely including the Northern states and most definitely including Lincoln.

All those vendors have their own equipment, workers, and supply chain. And in all cases the workers need food, shelter, and normal amenities. So, “You didn't build that? Somebody else made that happen?” Yes - but that “somebody else” was not government. The “somebody” was more like everybody - mostly very indirectly. It is not the government but society - as Thomas Paine points out in Common Sense, a very different thing - which makes the pencil.
Government planning is merely interference in society’s subtle workings by people who have nowhere near the competence needed to make such large decisions and be responsible for them. It is nothing more than the irresponsible separation of responsibility from authority, in violation of the first principle of good management. Improvement in efficiency via government “planning” is a paper tiger.
No one would care whether or not she was part Indian or whether or not she was lying about it if it weren’t for the government sponsored and approved racism known as Affirmative Action.
