Trump first attacked Mueller by name on Friday, once again dismissing the investigation into Russian meddling in the US election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign as a “witch hunt.”

“The Mueller probe should never have been started in that there was no collusion and there was no crime. It was based on fraudulent activities and a Fake Dossier paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC, and improperly used in FISA COURT for surveillance of my campaign. WITCH HUNT!” the commander-in-chief raged.

He followed up with a second tweet targeting Mueller on Saturday.

“Why does the Mueller team have 13 hardened Democrats, some big Crooked Hillary supporters, and Zero Republicans? Another Dem recently added…does anyone think this is fair? And yet, there is NO COLLUSION!” he wrote.

Several GOP lawmakers voiced support for Mueller after the tweetstorm.

Sen. Lindsay Graham of South Carolina said that if Trump fired Mueller, it would mark the beginning of the end of his presidency, while Rep. Trey Gowdy, also of South Carolina, said that if Trump was innocent, he should stop acting like he’s guilty.

But McConnell made no public comments until Tuesday.

Meanwhile, administration spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended Trump’s tweets, saying that the president was “frustrated” that the probe was ongoing despite his repeated protestations of innocence.

“To pretend like going through this absurd process for over a year would not bring frustration seems a little bit ridiculous,” she said.

“Clearly, we have not been shy about the fact that there is frustration of this process. We would like it to end quickly and soon and the president has contended since day one and will continue to do so, that there was absolutely no collusion between his campaign and any outside force or country and so I don’t understand why it’s hard for anyone to process,” she continued.

Trump, she said, “had been attacked mercilessly and continuously day in, day out, every single second” since taking office.

Based on this interview with Peter Schweizer from Breitbart about his new book, Mitch McConnell is bought and owned by the Chinese. He's owned by Chinese shipping and banking.

I'm really looking forward to reading Secret Empires by Peter Schweizer

I understand that there is at least a chapter on Mitch and his corrupt wife taking huge payoffs from China for 'favors rendered'.

Translation:

Mueller was put there to Cover Up the Conspiracy to Overthrow the Government by Myself and My colleagues, we Hate Trump.

But, with all this new evidence coming out, it will take longer to sanitize our participation in this failed coup d etat.

Well, the Turtle is no fan of Trump, so I can see him stumping for Mueller.

Not sure why Linda thinks it would be the end of the Presidency? Trump is the POTUS, thus the executive, and he can fire whom he pleases.

Well, this just reinforces my view that Ryan (Romney) and McConnell (Bush) are part of the conspiracy to remove our President.

This explains why Mueller keeps begging to be fired. Trump’s enemies (which include many if not most elected Republicans) scoped out a long time ago that thin skin (for a politician) was his weakness,

Ryan and McConnell knew that their voters would never stand for removing Trump for no reason. By wanting to re-live Watergate, they imagined McConnell as Howard Baker and Ryan as who knows who, that if they could provoke Trump into firing Mueller, they could then “with a heavy heart” conclude that he had to go.

When I look at Mitch McConnell, what I see is a lack of credibility.

“I think he was an excellent appointment. I think he will go wherever the facts lead him and I think he will have great credibility with the American people when he reaches a conclusion of this investigation,” he said.

What decade would that be?

Speaking of corruption.

Mitch McConnell is married to Elaine Chao

Elaine Chao’s father is James Chao, president of Foremost Group trading co that works with China. Closely. Their ships are built by the chinese. Their financing is chinese.

I’m sure it is pure coincidence that McConnell, who was once very hardline with China, has softened his positions since his marriage with Chao.

I wonder how McConnell would hold up to a deep exam of his finances.
