Gun-related vids on Utube are good for safety and should not be taken down.

When I recently bought a CZ semi-auto shotgun the user manual was crap. I went to Utube and saw a great video on how to take it down for cleaning. Same when I bought a MEC “grabber” shotshell reloader, a Utube vid showed me the steps.

Agree. I have a few firearms where the takedown procedure was poorly documented. Seeing a video helped a bunch. MidwayUSA and Brownell's have good training videos on assembling AR platform components. The videos also help their sales by showing the value of tools they sell. My tool kit is well stocked. Assembly is dirt simple with the right tools and techniques.

I have a Henry 44 Mag lever action. I've never done a full disassembly for a thorough cleaning. Henry support made a fine video explaining the process.

They are extremely valuable. But, the takedowns have happened and will continue.

We’re going to have to use multiple other places to host videos. It’s bad to put all the eggs in one basket anyway.

Video producers need to put up their own websites to host links to videos distributed all over the place.

Putting up a website used to be common. Now people are too lazy and want to use FB, YT and Twitter, while knowing those places can’t possibly be trusted.
