I received an email from my Google/YouTube rep at 9:30pm tonight. He requested an emergency meeting tomorrow to discuss YouTube's new policies regarding firearms content.
This is really bad. Please read this carefully and a couple of times, and let it sink in. 1/3rd of my videos or more will need to be removed. If you don't have them removed in 30 days, your channel will be deleted for policy violations.
I wish this were a joke. It's not. I feel horrible for reloading channels or NFA channels. Showing how to make ammo or even showing the installation of a silencer is prohibited. Hell, showing the use of a magazine larger than 30 rounds is prohibited! Belt feds are a no go.
I'll try to find out as much as I can from my rep tomorrow. I mean, are legal machine guns and silencers being demonstrated really going to get us account strikes now?
Please read this guys... I'm in shock, but then I knew this day wold come. It looks like it's here in 30 days. I'm at a total loss for words. ~Tim

Hard to argue with a large content hosting service blocking content which is borderline, or actually, illegal. They don’t want to be legally implicated when some moron DOES finish an 80% lower, makes a bump stock, attaches a 100-round mag, tacks on a homemade can, and then mows down a school.
I’m not approving such a ban, just understanding it.
Let’s know what the actual issue is before freaking out.
(And oh yeah would help if someone started making a YouTube, Twitter, & FB replacement. Not actually that hard these days.)
If they are going to kick us out of the Virtual World, we should be taking over the Real World.
That means talking to real people who you know who might not agree with you. It is uncomfortable and intimidating.
It means violating some social conventions that we do not discuss political matters in certain settings. We don’t want to do this, but if it is to be all we have left, we have to.
It means being prepared to discuss things in a cool, rational way. It means cultivating a public image as a thoughtful and reasonable person who deserves to be listened to. It means never losing your temper and flying off the handle, because that gives them exactly what they want.
We are going to have to win this fight one conversation at a time. Fortunately, one real conversation with a calm and friendly person is worth a thousand screeching posts on-line.
And one trip to the gun range, including training and a discussion of the utility and hazards of gun use is worth a million.
So go forth. Preach to the ignorant. Help guide the misguided. Tell people the truth, and let them make up their own minds.
There are millions of us. If each of us reaches and turns one person a year, or maybe two, we will win this debate once and for all by the end of Trump’s first term.
So, think about your circle of acquaintances. Who could you talk to? Who would be liable to listen? Who could you bring to the range for a fun and informative day of shooting?
Policies on content featuring firearms
YouTube prohibits certain kinds of content featuring firearms. Specifically, we dont allow content that:
Intends to sell firearms or certain firearms accessories through direct sales (e.g., private sales by individuals) or links to sites that sell these items. These accessories include but may not be limited to accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire or convert a firearm to automatic fire (e.g., bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, conversion kits), and high capacity magazines (i.e., magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds).
Provides instructions on manufacturing a firearm, ammunition, high capacity magazine, homemade silencers/suppressors, or certain firearms accessories such as those listed above. This also includes instructions on how to convert a firearm to automatic or simulated automatic firing capabilities.
Shows users how to install the above-mentioned accessories or modifications.
Report content that violates this policy
You can report videos that you believe violate this policy by flagging the video.
Thanks for your feedback!
For real? OK, just searched it...it's already taken, but does not appear to be porn, just general vid posts.
Films included i.e., all westerns, all war movies, all action movies, etc.?

A couple of times when BING didn't give me what I was looking for I broke down and used Google. They didn't have the answers either.
And what would that be worth every month. Bandwidth and storage is not free.
Not to mention the massive amount of pvp action video gamers content that YouTube has ads running on. Think theyll pull those? After all, you can find all sorts of graphic gun violence on those, not to mention acts of torture, kidnapping, forced executions, suicide, even rape.
First they create an Entity that everyone goes to and where they can Post anything, making it the big dog pseudo Monopoly.
Then they begin to strategically limit content with an ever changing Terms of Use Policy. They do this slowly and deliberately and they use Public Opinion distorted by the Liberal Media as their Barometer.
They turn information into Propaganda by limiting any content that goes against their “unstated” mission.

Time for FReetube???
Jim, I hear knocking.
“We need a competitor that believes in free speech and expression to displace youtube, basically.”
Too often these things don’t really start out as lefty sites, but they become successful and end up being bought out by those with left leanings when the creator/entrepreneur that started them decides its time to cash in.
Bitchute.com or even minds.com
Prove it !!
I’m all for increasing competition via the Ma Bell/Baby Bells model.
Apply that to any internet medium that has a virtual monopoly on its type of service, such as FaceBook, Twitter, Google search and YouTube, etc.
” The owners decided to change the direction of their own businesses and they don’t need anyone’s permission to do so. This could prove to be a good thing in the long run for free speech advocacy,...”
Yeah, and when the liberal pukes decide to boot POTUS Trump from twitter? Will that be a good thing as well?
Gun-related vids on Utube are good for safety and should not be taken down.
When I recently bought a CZ semi-auto shotgun the user manual was crap. I went to Utube and saw a great video on how to take it down for cleaning. Same when I bought a MEC “grabber” shotshell reloader, a Utube vid showed me the steps.
We can only just barely keep FR up and running now with constant Beg-a-thons. How do you propose to fund the expansion?
