David Graham (Shibumi) has passed away.

David J. Graham, age 69 of Portage Indiana, passed away on Thursday March 15, 2018.
He is survived by wife Dorothy (nee Foerster) of 19 years after marrying at the Griffith
Lutheran Church on September 12, 1999. David is also survived by sons Michael Mick and Alec Graham.
David was a graduate of Andrean High School, Class of 1967 and received his bachelor's degree in English
Literature from Notre Dame University. David served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War,
was a former member of the American Legion Post #430, and a former member of V.F.W. #1563.
Regarding his service in the Army, in his own words:
MP School Ft Gordon, Apr & May 69.
291st MP Company, Redstone Arsenal, AL. May 69 - Apr 70
MACV Team 14, May - Nov 70, MACV PMG, Dec 70 - May 71
41st MP Detachment, St Louis MO, Jun - Dec 71
and then 60 days Early Out.

It is hard to lose the good ones.
Shibumi was a good one.
Prayers offered for his wife and family, for the loss they are enduring right now.
I can only hope that his Savior will enlist him in the heavenly army that watches over America in the unseen spiritual battle with the Prince of Darkness.
To the rest of us, it is a reminder that life is indeed short, that any day over three score and ten years is a God-given bonus, and to make each day count, as it might be our last.
