The Headline: “Sources contradict Sessions testimony!!!”, giving the impression that Sessions was all in favor of the idea contrary to his testimony.

The Reality: One source “contradicting” Sessions says he “said something to the effect of “okay, interesting.””

The other two recalled a similar response: “It was almost like, ‘Well, thank you and let’s move on to the next person.””

Even assuming these reports, by unnamed sources, to be true, they don’t “contradict” anything.

Perfectly legal for any campaign to meet with anyone they like. Hilary Clinton campaign repeatedly met with Christopher Steele Steele and Fusion GPS, then in conjunction with the Russians, concocted a fake dossier which they then used to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.
