FAKEY, FLAKEY NEWS and loser left celebrities and politicians
Welcome all you deplorables to this week's edition of the Dose!
This is EVERYTHING TRUMP.
Administration, family, frustrations, joys, winning!
We welcome your research, your commentary,
your personal OT sharing and your presence.
Even if you do not share a lot, just check in and say hi.
Lurkers are welcome.
Mr President Keep the truth coming
Keep on Tweeting
Concur with posts 886; 888; 893. Our President is surrounded by treacherous, evil monsters. Legislators of major parties on the take: drugs, cartels, illegal immigrants for cheap labor, big pharma and insurance firm profiteering (undermining economy and legal structure for collapse a la Cloward and Piven). Despite that, he is achieving goals common to all of us. $700 billion for the military sounds good to me. He’s making decisions that benefit our country. He is methodically neutralizing domestic enemies within and without his circle.
Does a sniper advertise his plan? Does a boxer telegraph his punches? End of rant.
I thought it was a spending bill, not a budget. Please don’t ask me questions because I don’t understand a lot of this stuff.
Hi, SG!
Rant all you want - were family here!
We disagree sometimes but we love each other!
:-)
I believe you are correct.
I should have said "Bill" instead of "Budget".
IiRC Nixon Etc were dealing with bonafide budgets. THis is not a budget so throw the “rules” out just like 0 did .
Hate to be a contrarian but this is an omnibus not a budget. The last time the Senate passed a budget was April 29, 2009. So all rules of how money is suppose to be handled 0 threw out the door.
What you have stated is suppose to be the way it works, if we have a budget.(which we do not).
The party that once embraced Catholics now slams the door on us, the cardinal wroteThe US Democratic Party has abandoned the many Catholic voters who once supported it, the Archbishop of New York has said. Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Cardinal Timothy Dolan said that by embracing radical pro-abortion ideology and blocking legislation to help poorer families attend Catholic schools, ...
When you’ve lost the Catholic Church you’re in trouble
Far be it from me to correct the posters on this thread. Your posts are very informative and I appreciate them. I was catching up from Thursday and shouldn’t have posted anything before reading all the posts. Now you know why I don’t post very often lol! Our President is up to his neck in slime and it was so good to hear his rationale today. It would be naive to stop supporting him because of his signing this bill. That would be precisely what the opposition wants.
Thanks, pax. Good to see you!
Wow, there are a lot of posts in that post.

Barron Trump Sulks as Melania and Donald Trump Arrive in Florida March, 23, 2018
Things that seemed good once upon a time have been corrupted. Labor unions, Democrats—was the deception always there right below the surface? “Rules for Radicals” and “Propaganda” by Bernays were revelations to me. Maybe the Catholics have recognized the dishonesty and manipulation for what it is. It’s amazing that politicians do despicable things and then engage in distraction around election time thinking that the voters have short memories.
Melania was undoubtedly prepared for accusations and extortion attempts which are par for the course for a wealthy heterosexual male. What is surprising is that we haven’t heard any homosexual smears about the President. Enemies of the state are becoming more outrageous and desperate in their accusations against POTUS so who knows what they’ll think of next? Remedy: Point and laugh. It drives them crazy *cackle*!
The poor kid probably had a hot date or something and there go his parents on one of those annoying trips again. He’ll understand the ghastly situation of our country that his parents are trying to rectify when he’s older. For now, it’s tough for him. Prayers up for them.
Here is a paragraph from the article:
How is an Omnibus different from a regular budget?
"The Congressional budgeting system is designed for review, debate and thoughtful vote. When Congress resorts to an omnibus budget, they are dismissing that responsibility in favor of a massive and wide-reaching bill passed without revision or discussion. When an omnibus combines multiple pieces of legislation into a 1,000+ page document, and gives lawmakers only a few days to review, members of Congress cannot appropriately understand, discuss or improve upon budgeting proposals. Moreover, by linking all unresolved issues in a single vote before Congress concludes a session, representatives must either support budgets they disapprove of, or risk bill failure, budget expiration, and government shutdown. This forces the nations leaders to adopt subpar proposals at a time when both the amount and effectiveness of government spending is a key concern of voters."
Just the Facts: Omnibus Budget
It appears to me that ALL other rules apply whether an Omnibus or a Budget.
Interesting read—thanks for link.
I don’t think Barron likes being first son. He’s a teenager, they don’t like much.
Just watched the rerun of Lou Dobbs and he didnt seem upset with President Trump - but he was upset with McConnell and Ryan.
Lou also showed a clip of Sheriff David Clarke who said that Trump did what he had to do to fund our military.
Wanted to pass along those bits of info.
And so, as I bid all of you extraordinarily wonderful Deplorables good-night, heres Tammy Wynette singing a song which expresses my feelings about todays events and President Trump:
