You may never know if he does or not. What I do know is that he is guilty of far more crimes than the letter from Sessions is alluding to. If he avoids prosecution for those crimes then justice has not been served.

I think I read that he will still be eligible for a “deferred” pension at age 57.

That was my understanding also. But there’s something else...Health insurance....Looks like he might have to beg for a subsidized policy for a while.

I am suggesting what this is about based on govt friends who have retired. The pension is a funded retirement based on a percentage of your salary and years.

The retirement is probably the govt’s version of a self funded retirement plan, similar to a 401(k). That is his money. He can start taking that without penalty at 59 1/2.
