Right. And it’s a nice touch that McCabe was scheduled to retire tomorrow. Otherwise it just adds fodder to the left’s BIG LIE of obstruction of justice (when of course, they are the ones guilty of same).

I’ve been watching AG Sessions since before he was a Senator. In AL, as a Federal Prosecutor, his nickname was “Silent Assassin.”
He pretty much proved that nic to be true tonight.
Frankly, from my years of watching AGs, and how they should behave, AG Sessions has been exemplary.
He IS heroic, given the state of affairs we’ve seen as far as accountability is concerned for many decades now.

I hope you’re right and Sessions turns out to be a heroic assassin of bad guys. But tonight’s firing may be nothing more than what Sessions has been doing for the past 13 months — simply carrying out a recommended action that he found in his DOJ in-basket. The jury is still hearing evidence on Sessions IMHO.
And he was clever enough to stay out of the fen muler-er is spewing.

I read that. Going to look more closely at it, but it looks like he is doubling down on stupidity.
His problem is...he lied. He Lied. HE LIED. They have him on tape. And it is impossible that he did not know that he was lying. Not only is impossible he did not know, he openly admitted that he said what he did because he felt that he had to. (That was his rationale)
Problem, is, he could have said at any time “Can we discuss this in closed session?” which would have been completely proper if his rationalization were true...which it is not. So, he didn’t say that.
He lied. But, being the stupid leftist he is, he is going to double down on that.

That’s funny, because I wonder about the intellects of people who do not understand that taking down the Leftist shadow government is a HUGE OPERATION requiring planning, preparation, strategy, logistics, coordination of many forces, element of surprise and timing.
President Trump totally understands this because he has carried out numerous large, multi-year projects ... though none so large as this.

McCabe may yet become recognized as the most infamous holder of the #2 spot at FBI. Mark Felt, aka “Deep Throat” earned that rank for leaking the Watergate story. But he wasn’t recognized for that feat until demented 31 years later. But McCabe certainly doesn’t deserve to be known as “Deep Throat 2.” He has plenty of time left for his moment in the sin. I call him “Deep Choke!”

I agree. They’re crossing every t and dotting every i. They are not going about it in a haphazard way. We must be patient.
