If you talk to friends and family you’ll run into a lot of people who would traditionally vote GOP but who are still very disturbed by Trump. That, I believe, is the reason these special elections are showing such a huge vote swing from November 2016. Part of it is people changing their votes, but a lot of it is just GOP voters sitting out an election due to their concerns about Trump.
This is why the IG report, hopefully accompanied by multiple criminal referrals from a parallel DOJ investigation, is so important. If massive criminality is demonstrated on the Dem side, those not-so-solid GOP votes will return in November.
But if things remain about as they are now, November is going to be a happy time for the Democrats, in my opinion.
I think that is very true.
Current trajectory means Democrats win a lot in November.
That trajectory becomes very different if the IG Report shows that the DNC and the Media and the CIA were all conspiring to corrupt the political process and trample the rights of the voters. If that comes out, then November will be a month of retribution against the Democrats.
But I hope the Trump Admin can get info out soon.
