How easy you make it sound. I take it you arent concerned about CWII. We all have to be, unfortunately.
Because the man HAS NO LIFE aside from continuing public adoration in the political arena.
It’s sad really.
Perhaps what we need is an "Presidential Entrepreneur, Enterprise Law" that states once you make more than (?? X) the retirement salary,
you are considered running a corporation or business for profit.
That business could be speaking engagements, organizing personal or political business strategies, investment opportunities, or guest appearances for money.
There is no way that the government should be subsidizing any such personal business or personal security, or subsidizing the success of that business venture.
Entrepreneurs regularly evaluate risk and return and then make a decision to fold, hold back, or, move forward.
Once an individual reaches the ?? X limit, they continue to receive the Presidential pension, but Secret Service security is dropped,
as is their direct access to confidential memos and committee reports(Think Awan brothers using/selling insider information).
Because he doesnt wanna. And because with the MSM behind you you have amazing authority.
Sounds good to me-——the ex-pres’s MUST be restrained.
Limiting post-prez income is a great way.
And the more narcissistic they are the longer they stay.
He’s a professional agitator. That’s what he does.
(HAT TIP TILTED IRISH KILT) what we need is a "Presidential Entrepreneur, Enterprise Law" that states once the ex-prez pockets more than the retirement salary, pensions, Secret Service and other perks (amt to be determined) they are now considered to be running a money-making corporation or business for their own profit.
That post-presidency businesses could include (A) speaking engagements, (B) consultancies, (C) organizing personal or political business strategies, (D) investment opportunities, (E) money-gathering foundations, (F) profit-making presidential centers/libraries, (G) selling access to govt entities and individuals, and/or, (H) guest appearances for money.
Taxpayers should not be subsidizing any such personal business or personal security, or subsidizing the success of the ex-president's business ventures.
The law should regularly evaluate the income---amid risks and returns---then forthrightly terminate tax-funding.
Once an ex-president reaches the law's dollar limit, they can continue to receive the Presidential pension, but Secret Service security is dropped, as is their direct access to classified intel, confidential memos and Congressional committee reports.

Because Soros doesnt want him to.
Ah, Liz, you do realize that Andrew Johnson was elected U.S. Senator after being president, and that John Quincy Adams was elected Congressman-—for many years-—after being president.
Most historians argue that Adams had a far better impact on America as a congressman, where he fought the “gag rule” than as a president.
They think they are the bride at every wedding and the corpse at every funeral.
He is a narcissist.
And there should be full transparency on how they make their money post-Presidency.
Darn right. My blood is still boiling over this injustice to the taxpayers. And whenever I see a public Trump rally, you still hear lots of calls to "lock her up!"
Nothing has changed since 2016, except the Trump Train is stronger than ever!
The jury is still out on the fate of AG Sessions......but one thing does redound in his favor: setting up the asset forfeiture machinery.
A/F is specifically intended for the marauding Clintons and the greedy Obamas......make no mistake about that.
There should be limits placed on this... same with the crooks in other government jobs. Taxpayers should not have to support all the DC criminals...
There should be limits placed on this... same with the crooks in other government jobs. Taxpayers should not have to support all the DC criminals... I’m including Congress. Folks come to Congress as middle class citizens and within a few years most of them are multimillionaires.
We’ve been taken enough by DC crooks.
