RE: Democrat Conor Lamb is pretending to be a republican.
And the Dems are going to use this strategy for 2018. Why? Because it seems to work.

That’s unfortunate that so many people still watch the MSM.

I thought I expressed "why is it even close"? The one time it mattered the HOR and US Senate either wouldn't or couldn't rescind ObamaCare. They didn't defend Roy Moore against bogus charges. Establishment 'pub slime would rather quell the "deplorable" influence, yet think the voting fodder will keep voting for them. We won't.
If they nation is going down anyway, let the dems have it!

The Reps consider this good news. The last thing they want to do is show a modicum of leadership.
(They are hoping the dems sweep in Nov).

Most voters just don't look at things like that.
No, they sure don't. Locally the logic was likely thus:
We elected Trump to bring back the jobs.
We elect a Democrat to make everything is FAIR on that job.
Seems nonsensical but I can absolutely see large numbers of Western PA voters thinking that way.

If the GOP intends to maintain control of Congress in the upcoming elections, somebody should whisper in Trumps ear, Make shorter speeches.

Idiot. Those are state legislative seats.

Lamb led Saccone by a slim margin of just more than 500 votes [??? emphasis added] with only some absentee ballots outstanding." You would think that panicking RINOs would demand a recount if Dem candidate leads by a slim margin of just more than 500 votes.
Possibly another rigged election.
Hacking Democracy - The Hack
Although this is not a Senate-related election, we need to get rid of ill-conceived 17th Amendment.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.

RE: Idiot. Those are state legislative seats.
SO? They were GOP HELD. That does not bode well for Congressional elections.
To: SeekAndFind
Stupidity and vote fraud. The fraud could easily have made up for the vote tally difference and then some.

You are talking about losing 5 during the election itself?
We were suppose to lose far more and held our losses to only 5.
So during the special elections, we have lost only one.

Those are STATE offices, not national ones.
We have lost only one congressional seat so far in the special elections.
And by the way, the GOP won a special state election in Tenn. last night.

So, the fact that they were State elections makes it relevant to particular state issues, not the national races.

RE: So, the fact that they were State elections makes it relevant to particular state issues, not the national races.
I don’t see it that way. State issues DO intersect with national issues. THAT, and the fact that:
1) These were GOP held seats in red states ( e.g. Oklahoma )
2) The GOP did NOT win any Democrat held seats
3) National Senate AND Congressional seats were LOST in RED districts
Tell me that this is a trend. Better not ignore this.
