I just don't think Tillerson and Trump got along. I know, I know, for months any discord between the two has been labeled “fake news” but there was enough there for most to understand they had different visions of the world. When Trump excluded Tillerson in the North Korea announcement, I knew Tillerson was done.

They were probably too much alike, both being upper level businessmen. Tillerson was used to giving orders; not taking them. Too many ‘chiefs’ and not enough ‘Indians’ sort of thing.
