Is Mike Pompeo a globalist?

Supposedly, Tillerson was quoted as saying that he (T Rex) was unaware of why he was being let go??? (Just reported on FoxBiz)

I thought he was a great choice too. This was all decided last Nov. Tillerson stayed on until Trump decided who his replacement would be.

I’m glad he spoke the truth on his way out.

Personnel management via Twitter is not good. Tillerson should have announced his own departure. Maybe this is an amicable separation; time will tell ... but graceless dismissals of high ranking members of the team have considerable blowback potential.

How many Trump appointees are there in the State Department in Senate confirmed positions? Is State still being run by a sea of Actings?

Maybe this is an amicable separation

No way. Tillerson being left on the sideline during the North Korea announcement, Tillerson publicly at odds with Trump on a number of fronts and just yesterday Tillerson coming out strong on the nerve attack tells me all I need to know about this "split".

Maybe Tillerson wasn’t sick.

Sorry to see Tillerson go

Why? Not only was he never on the same page as the President the guy didn't even own the same book. Good Riddance.

T Rex probably was not that enthusiastic about Trump’s new tariff stands.

He didn't support any stand the President took. I'm very glad to see him go.

That’s what I’m afraid of. We are 17 months past the election and more than a year past the Inauguration. Trump has yet to assemble an administration. Perhaps he simply hasn’t bothered. Perhaps he can’t. But personnel are policy, and Trump still hasn’t filled his own subcabinet.

According to the Washington Compost, Tillerson was informed of the um... personnel change on Friday. That might explain his being “suddenly struck with all illness” during his African your.

Doesn’t the secretary of state need to be confirmed by Congress?

He reminds me so much of him — a true gentleman.

Yeah, a "true gentleman" ingrate who gets a coveted position from POTUS then calls him a "f***ing idiot" behind his back. He was also a foreign policy pussy who was out of line with his president's agenda.

Tillerson can go pound.

Hard to imagine someone could be well respected in such a den of global criminals without being pretty dirty herself.

Let’s hope this is just a caretaker position before they implement the full plan Gen. Flynn apparently recommended.

Stuart Varney just reported that the reason (or one of them) that Tillerson was moved out was that he and the President disagreed about the Iran nuke deal.

The Iran Nuke Deal

Climate Change

Gay Boy Scout Leaders

TPP

Tariffs

Jerusalem

Good riddance Rex...I just threw the gay boy scout leaders in there for good measure.

Right. And there is no reason at all for McMaster to still be employed.

To be really, really honest....I don't think he is feeling well and his doctor said he can't keep up this pace and ASKED to be let go.

We'll see.

Wouldn’t Pompeo be acting SOS?

No. Since he was already subject to Senate consent for the CIA job he can just slide right in there.
