Golly. If they turn up a check signed by Trump, made out to the lawyer, for $130,000, with a little memo at the bottom of said check which says, “Reimbursement for the money you paid that porn star”, then I’d say President Trump is really in trouble!!!!!
But I don’t think that check exists. So I think it’s all going to be OK.
Why? Trump is a billionaire. He can pay his own money to whomever he wants for whatever reason he chooses. It's his money.
If you are saying he is in trouble politically because it makes him look like he had an affair with her - then I understand. But I see no legal issue here.
The amount of money sounds odd - and wouldn’t one be able to extort MUCH more from a billionaire in such a circumstance?
