The Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit urged Guatemala to cancel its decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem on Thursday, according to the official Palestinian Authority news site Wafa.
In an urgent letter to Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales, Aboul-Gheit expressed his dissatisfaction with the president's decision to relocate its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Spokesman for the Secretary-General Mahmoud Afifi said in a statement.
Guatemala was one of a handful of countries that backed a UN vote on US President Donald Trump's December 6 recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Last Sunday, President Morales confirmed at AIPAC that the embassy would move to Jerusalem two days after the United States, in mid-May and Palestinians were fuming as the Guatemalan ambassador Sara Castaneda toured Jerusalem on Monday, looking at properties for the future embassy.

Big sign out front: “This Embassy is in Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel”
Amen!
Should be sure that it’s in several languages: including Arabic
If Arabs spent their time educating their people to be free, respectful and tolerant, build their economy and aspired to live in peace with Israel, they would be far better off.
What has attacking Israel brought them? And friends of Israel aren’t interested in buying what they’re selling.
Having spent time with both Christian and Muslim Arabs, the recommendations in your remarks are actually followed by one of these groups. Guess which one? :)
Go guatemala!
Most americans do not know that despite guatemalas problems that seem to plague spanish cultures, it is actually a beautiful country with a ton of interesting things to see and do. Lake Atitlan, surrounded by volcanoes and dotted with unique villages is central americas lake tahoe. The ruins at tikal are probably the coolest maya ruins out there. Antigua has some good markets, and their poor church had like 3 periods of hundred year construction followed by an earthquake a year later with total destruction. Ceviche there is incredible. And those mountain roads through the jungles are exactly what you see in the movies. The only thing I didnt like was endless plantains (I hate plantains)
“I hate plantains”
I wonder if you’ve ever had them battered, fried, and drowned with mojo?
I read an article on Gatestone this morning that the leadership of the main Greek opposition party, which is likely to come to power next year, will move the Greek embassy to Jerusalem.
Greece needs Grexit. It also needs to round up and deport the flood of Rapeugees.
Is Greece about to Recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital?

Thanks. I should have posted that.
Wow!
That would be huge for an EU member state to declare this.
Thanks for sharing.
It’s not too late. :^)
Ha, just did it.
Sure, the big bullies are threatening a little bitty country like Guatemala.
Thanks!
