Exclusive: Tiny Irish Town Taking Hundreds of Migrants Had No Say, Locals Fear Being Called Racist
Breitbart ^ | 3/6/2018

Posted on 03/07/2018 6:57:44 AM PST by Altura Ct.

A resident of a tiny Irish town having its population increased by a third by a new migrant centre has said Ireland has become a “slave state” of the European Union (EU) and its immigration policies, leaving locals helpless. “We don’t know where these people are going to be from. They won’t tell us what countries they’re from. What religion they’re from,” said Michael Walsh.

He said the 300-strong rural community of Lisdoonvarna could be radically changed by such a large and sudden influx, and that many concerned locals were fearful of accusations of racism if they questioned it.

“They just proposed to expand the population of this little village by what? Twenty-five per cent? Thirty-three per cent actually!” he exclaimed in an interview with Breitbart News Editor in Chief Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM.

“And [the asylum seekers] are starting to come in this week,” he said, explaining how the contracts for the deal have now been signed this Wednesday, making it a “done deal”, despite 93 per cent of Lisdoonvarna residents last week voting against turning a local hotel into asylum seeker accommodation.

“The hotelier who had publically said ‘if the people of Lisdoonvarna don’t want this I won’t sign the contract’ has signed the contract. He’s now weaselled back on it,” Mr. Walsh added, speculating that the owner stands to make between one and two million euros from the government in a year.

Mr. Walsh – a screenwriter, author, filmmaker, and former Breitbart News editor – grew up in the U.S. but has roots in the isolated town of Lisdoonvarna in County Clare, which hosts a popular matchmaking festival in the summer, attracting many tourists.

"Oh, really? What pieces?"

The violent immigrants being foisted on American communities. The progressive move to eliminate free speech and implement "hate speech" laws. Those are the two pieces in place, just as they are in Europe. This is why we must never give an inch on the second amendment. I wasn't saying the left would be successful in trying to disarm us, I was just pointing out why this is their objective.

The Irish are news junkies. They devour it from every corner of the globe.

Alas, the news is entirely leftist propaganda and this is what results.

“We don’t know where these people are going to be from. They won’t tell us what countries they’re from. What religion they’re from,” said Michael Walsh.

I have the answer: the 'migrants' will come from a sh*thole countries and they'll bring their culture with them... the same 'culture' that creates sh*tholes where ever they live.

Germany is making the choice to dump these people in Ireland because the German's have a knack for making everyone around them miserable and they want the cheap labor. The Irish will now be MORE amenable to draconian laws because fear makes people willing to trade freedom for security.

Good luck Michael Walsh - you'll need it.

This can’t turn out well. Hoping the townsfolk are well armed.

Irish gun laws are probably as prohibitive of ownership as in UK. These villagers would have to take up pitchforks & scythes.

This is why we need a right to arms. Without it, the government disarms you, transports hundreds of violent invaders to your doorstep and criminally prosecutes anyone who complains for “hate crimes”
>

Ummm, aside from the prosecutions, our own govt is already there...and we’re ARMED. (Yes, yes, the ol’ “Just wait ‘til we’re NOT”).

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Zero shut/shouted down many a Gov/State whom questioned Fedzilla ‘relocating’ into their State (no ask, no notice).

They don’t make Irish in the quantities that they once did.

Exactly my point. As I noted all the pieces are in place to do to us what Europe is doing to it's citizens. The only reason its not happening here is because we are armed and they are not. And that is what the left is desperate to change.

You will be conquered. I never thought I would live to see a world so full of eunuchs. If people can’t see the connection between these invasions and the efeminization of our culture they have not been paying attention.

No, my family came here a long time ago from Ireland. My great grandfather, from Galway, joined the British Army and fought under Lord Kitchener and Chinese Gordon (as he called him). A religious man, he raised a fine family and worked every day until he was old and frail. I never met him, sadly.

I see you said quantities, not qualities in your post, lol! Forget my previous post in that case.

I understand. My point was that the large families from long ago raised for the most part as devout Roman Catholics are gone. Western countries for the most part are “Modern Romans” as of now. He was a lousy messenger, but Garner Ted Armstrong had it largely correct as far as this phenomena goes: http://www.cog-ff.com/The_Modern_Romans/The_Modern_Romans.html#/1/

Oh, I see. Yes, when the Irish stopped being Catholic (no matter what the problems within the Church) they stopped being lovely people. Sad to see. Well, they’re getting what they deserve, I guess; it’ll make the Church’s problems look like small change.

Ironically, it seems that the only Catholics left in Ireland are the Poles that emigrated there.

"...despite 93 per cent of Lisdoonvarna residents last week voting against turning a local hotel into asylum seeker accommodation.

I doubt it will take a year for the "refugees" to turn the whole town into a no go zone. It's hard to fathom the depth of sadness and anger of the residents.
