A resident of a tiny Irish town having its population increased by a third by a new migrant centre has said Ireland has become a “slave state” of the European Union (EU) and its immigration policies, leaving locals helpless. “We don’t know where these people are going to be from. They won’t tell us what countries they’re from. What religion they’re from,” said Michael Walsh.
He said the 300-strong rural community of Lisdoonvarna could be radically changed by such a large and sudden influx, and that many concerned locals were fearful of accusations of racism if they questioned it.
“They just proposed to expand the population of this little village by what? Twenty-five per cent? Thirty-three per cent actually!” he exclaimed in an interview with Breitbart News Editor in Chief Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM.
“And [the asylum seekers] are starting to come in this week,” he said, explaining how the contracts for the deal have now been signed this Wednesday, making it a “done deal”, despite 93 per cent of Lisdoonvarna residents last week voting against turning a local hotel into asylum seeker accommodation.
“The hotelier who had publically said ‘if the people of Lisdoonvarna don’t want this I won’t sign the contract’ has signed the contract. He’s now weaselled back on it,” Mr. Walsh added, speculating that the owner stands to make between one and two million euros from the government in a year.
Mr. Walsh – a screenwriter, author, filmmaker, and former Breitbart News editor – grew up in the U.S. but has roots in the isolated town of Lisdoonvarna in County Clare, which hosts a popular matchmaking festival in the summer, attracting many tourists.

The EU is evil. Notice how these stories of refugees showing up in American towns in busses in the dead of night have stopped? What did Trump do to end it? Whatever he did was rather quiet. It should be praised from the rooftops.
I will never understand why globalists want to destroy everything and their belief that somehow this could turn out well for the world.
Ireland essentially has no conservative political party. So this is what happens. Politics was defined by centuries of seeking independence such that since the 26 Counties have been a state, they have been unable to adopt a real democratic system that provides voters with a meaningful choice between left and right. And layered on top of this is the EU and the ongoing secularization and abandonment of anything approaching traditional Christianity. Their only hope now is that the weather will drive the Muslims away - hopefully they will want to leave and join their coreligionists in England.
Ha! You think those inhabitants have a RIGHT to their own homes? Wasn’t it Sweden that kicked people out of their homes to take in the “refugees”? It happened somewhere in Europe.
On the other hand, there is no shortage of tribal homelands for the "migrants". Their jungle homeland awaits for them any time of their choosing. The "migrants" jungle homelands will be there long after Europe has been left a bloody, ravaged, hollowed out cinder.

Sell everything, move out and build anew village 25 km away. Take everything of significance. If you can’t sell, burn it all down, go on government assistance and rebuild.

The danger in their home country is over. No more need for asylum. Send them all back!
