Democrats across the country were getting a collective thrill up their leg about the coming blue wave that was about to break over Texas. Some early-voting numbers had Dems all excited.
And then the election happened. And its true that a political party set a Texas record yesterday for the number of voters going to the polls in a primary. Just one teensy little problem for Texas Dems: it was the Republican party. Democrats turned out in solid-but-not-record-breaking numbers. Overall, Republicans swamped Dem turnout by about half-a-million votes. Republican votes cast beat Dem votes by a ratio of 60/40.
On todays Morning Joe, after election maven Steve Kornacki broke the bad news, Joe Scarborough had to concede:
Looks like a lot of those reports about a big blue wave coming in Texas: once again, overhyped.

I mean every word of it, Cruz supporters are often Never Trumpers, case in point, Redstate.com and Glenn Beck, they don’t make sense, a lot of Cruz supporters fail to see Trump and Cruz work together, campaigned together (Iran rally).
Cruz won 8% of those eligible to vote, in 2012, only half of eligible voters even voted in that senate race.

Cruz is fine, a lot of his supporters are pretty outrageous, fail to see what Trump has done, defeating ISIS, enabling the making jobs, SCOTUS nominees.
Cruz supporters are often Never Trumpers as mentioned above and often very nasty, phony, fake, etc.
Forget that.
Kornacki made a fool of himself during the election season.
Said it was going to be a blowout for Cankles and the dems.
On another thread, Vince Ferrer said; “Until we get strong voting ID laws, the Russians will continue to interfere with our elections.”
Brilliant in a three-dimensional-chess kinda way.
The current administration should push for voter ID laws as a way of “stopping Russian interference”. When the dems dig their heels in against voter ID laws, Trump can say that the dems are not really serious about Russian meddling in our elections.

Morning Joe: Trump Accepted Meeting With North Korea to Distract from Stormy Daniels Story
"Morning Joe" hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski said President Donald Trump's decision to accept an unprecedented face-to-face meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was an effort to distract from the story about his alleged prior relationship with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Scarborough is a complete deviate and fool.
He’s worthless. Absolutely worthless.
