I believe there WAS a woman in
Texas that was holding a sign
up for passing motorists warning
of a speed trap ahead, she was
arrested.
The difference is she is not participating in a crime that is being committed, she is preventing someone from committing a crime. Cops are generally ok with that, except when it threatens their revenue stream.
