It’s March 5th and the Democrats are nowhere to be found on DACA. Gave them 6 months, they just don’t care. Where are they? We are ready to make a deal! 3:37 PM - 5 Mar 2018

I don’t understand why this has to
go thru the courts. An EO made it so,
an EO can make it not so.
Oh, I think I’m getting the hang of this “4d chess” thing. Ahem:
He KNEW that if he setup some sort of date for actions that the Democrats would miss that date because they are not, nor have ever been, interested in “Dreamers” succeeding. They want only votes. They want only turmoil and chaos.
So when he said that he was going to get rid of DACA he would have created enemies, but now that it appears the Democrats have abandoned DACA because they have gun grabs now, it makes them appear foolish and he will get his DACA elimination anyway.
Is that how this works ?
Is that how a president gets things done ? Or does a President lead, keep Congress in line, fully execute the Constitution with the Executive branch (Including law enforcement) and represent the country to foreign countries ?
Because he does most of this but often forgets that he isn’t part of a bargaining unit anymore. He’s President and he is fully within the constitution to tell these congressmen that they are out of line, the laws they pass are illegitimate and he can correct them to align with our constitution. He doesn’t have to negotiate, he doesn’t have to make a case and then execute it using mental acrobatics.
He can pass an EO allowing gun freedoms across all 50 states not because it’s easy. Not because it’s fun or because he’ll impress people. He has a -duty- to do it because that’s what the Constitution says.
We don’t have to allow immigrants access to anything. The Constitution doesn’t say it, but a country without borders or without immigration procedure isn’t a country. It’s a damned rest stop. A flophouse. A hippy commune. A hostel. People from other countries don’t have access to our constitution. He’s the president, it’s time to preside.
All of these things that we asked for are well, well within in his command. And he doesn’t need to bargain or negotiate it. This isn’t a business with a board of directors and decision makers.
He can correct all of the issues with the Military, Police and FBI because these are part of the Executive branch, of which he is the head of.
Just remember when any of us make a remark about nothing happening with Brexit to also remember to mention what’s happening with what the American people voted for.

Enforce current law.
So, DACA kids are now just your everyday garden variety of illegal alien?
They have judges fighting their battle for them
