Other members of Congress, such as Trump supporters Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows have called on Sessions to resign, saying that, By recusing himself from the FBIs investigation into Russias alleged interference in the United States election, Sessions has lost control, allowing for a leaky and unnecessarily overdrawn, partisan investigation.
All painting the picture of an inept Mr. Magoo as Attorney General, letting the lunatics run the asylum, doing a grave disservice to his president and the country.
*snip*
Now the opposite scenario, that AG Sessions is indeed a ninja, working behind the scenes to drain the swamp, but doing it, out of necessity, quietly yet methodically.
What is Sessionsrésumé? 12 years as a U.S. Attorney, two years as Alabama AG, three terms as a conservative U.S. senator, one of the earliest supporters of candidate Trump. Nearly 30 years navigating the swamp through a solid conservative lens. To say that he doesnt understand current events or the significance of his role in all of this is hard to fathom.
Trump is no fool. And he doesnt suffer fools either. Watch speeches or interviews from decades ago and Trumps core beliefs have changed little. He has spoken constantly of the swamp, fighting the establishment of the media, Democrats, and even his own party. Why would Trump tolerate an inept AG, rather than uttering his famous, Youre fired!
Jeff Sessions offered to resign in September of last year, and before that in June. If Trump was so displeased, he could have accepted Sessions resignation. But he didnt. What if this is all a grand charade? A deception to keep his enemies off guard?

Red herring or pinkish-purple herring? Trick question! A red herring is a red herring. Contrary what some believe, indicting Hillary is not the highest priority for the country. And stopping Mueller would be like shooting an elephant that might go on a rampage. It’s better to wait for the rampage.
Q says to trust Sessions. Larry says to trust Sessions. However Mueller keeps expanding his Inquisition.
The exchange between sessions and president Trump is unnatural and appears to be a form of communication. If I saw one iota of anything towards arrests knowing that convictions are the goal not just arrests, I would feel more positive. At this point I am beginning to believe there is about a 45% chance that Sessions is blackmailed. 55% chance that he is doing this slowly but surely and we’ll have a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.
He’s in over his head, easily played, and stubborn as a mule. His selfishness is preventing justice from being done.
He needs to be hammered from all sides until he resigns.
When the IG report comes out, saying justice was obstructed in the Hillary email whitewash, what will he do? Have Rosenstein look into it? Stubbornly refuse to appoint a Special Council? 99% chance he will do exactly that.
Imho, part of the lack of enthusiasm for the midterms, as measured by low pubbie turnout, will be due to Justice Denied. I know it affects my attitude. I’ll definitely vote, but can’t see manning a phone bank. Just frustrated to the point of saying f it.
WTF are the Democrats going to do if he didn't?
I’ve been critical of Sessions.....I’ll gladly eat my words if he comes thru. But time is slipping bye
With Sessions’ recusal and his declaration that he would leave Hilary alone, we effectively have Rosenstein running the DOJ.
Mr. Magoo is a good likeness.
Larry also said that Mueller is a white hat working with Trump.
summed up very nicely GE
Sometimes things are exactly as they seem. Sessions could just be a nitwit.
And you believed this horse manure?
How many other such salacious lies have we been fed by the press this election cycle?
While Sessions was a fine Senator, there is absolutely no evidence of any “Ninja” tendencies in his role as AG. He’s proven to be a disaster, and the loss of that seat in AL makes it a double negative.
The takeaway is to NEVER pick sitting legislators for Cabinet positions. There are too many other Roy Moore prototypes out there to lose otherwise “safe” seats.
While the behind-the-scenes contortions you describe may well have taken place; Every PUBLIC statement by Sessions has been that he WILL NOT resign; including the one this past week. Have a great week.
Neither ninja or nincompoop IMHO, but it is not good.
Sessions is totally focused on what he perceives to be his “honor and integrity”. Nothing else matters to him. He protects his honor and lets the country burn. He can kiss my a—.
The Intern AG is the head of the gang of lawyers that appointed the Obama/Clinton Uranium Bagman to head an indefinite investigation into whatever he felt like looking into!
You too.
SESSIONS reminds me of my 12 year old neutered tom cat. He tries, can’t succeed, then gets beat up by the young toms.
“Sessions record as a complete failure if not traitorous scoundrel is clear:
1. Took the job as AG then immediately recused himself
2. Refused to support his replacement in election causing loss of Senate seat
3. Allowed the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the President with no evidence of a crime
4. Refused to appoint a special counsel to investigate the obvious crimes of the democrats and DOJ agents “
The number of traitorous and lawless actions of Sessions has been countless. I am wondering who is the most despicable here, Sessions himself or all of the sycophants who ignore are all the evidence of the malfeasance and continue to find petty excuses to defend him.
Don’t forget taking NO REAL ACTION against ‘sanctuary cities/states’ for obvious violation of US law.
