How much of that is an attempt to preemptively prevent them typical anecdotal "evidence" the left uses? If you say there are many millions of immigrants, both legals and illegals, producing far less than they consume, thus making the country poorer by their presence, the left will name a few who have become rich to "disprove" your point. It looks like Tucker is admitting that there are some who are successful and should be welcomed in a merit based system, but that doesn't change the effect of the immigration tsunami we have.
Exactly what I was thinking. If we can’t point out the many problems illegals and third world immigrants cause without calling them “awesome,” “smart,” “adding a lot,” and “really great,” then that is the problem. When we must kowtow to illegal aliens, flattering them and praising them so they won’t get mad at us and call us names, then that means they rule over us. There’s a saying, something like, “Who are you not allowed to criticize? That is who rules over you.”
