She proved the experts wrong with her move from country to pop music. She has made may smart business moves. I like her just for that reason. I am not a fan of her music, not that there is anything wrong with her music, I’m more into jazz. She definitely sets high standards for herself and is smart enough not to have the habit of commenting on every political issue.

Being a Southerner myself who has been involved in politics since I could walk, a Southern Democrat was actually a Republican in thought but a Democrat in name only to assure them the black vote. So yes they were the party of the South, but not all of them were bad.
Her voice is pedestrian, her looks are no better than any mall rat with a makeover, but her music is amazing and it appears the business person, and human being, living inside her skin is top notch.
She appears to be one of the “good guys”.

I don’t live in a cave but I don’t know much about Taylor Swift either. I mostly don’t listen to new country cause it sucks. I have been on a kick about amassing a library of rock oldies, classic country, classic rock and the wonderful Motown. Also classical symphonic plus anything new that sounds good. I’m not into noise. But living in a cave with a good sound system sounds cool.
She does a lot of nice things.

I, too, know nothing about her singing or acting. Didn’t even know she acts. I can recognize her face when I see it, but nothing more. She’s quite beautiful.
When did Taylor Swift ever do a Hillary rally? I don't recall a single moment where Taylor Swift ever endorsed Hillary Clinton.
I do recall her being taken to task for NOT endorsing Hillary Clinton or speaking out against Donald Trump.
