I am a huge fan of hers. She is brilliant and smart and stays out of politics and is very honest and loyal to her fans, sometimes showing up at a young fan’s house to surprise them.
Love her for this all the more.

I thought the lefties accused her of being a righty.
I’m not a fan of her music but she certainly seems like a very nice person.
So many people who achieve fame in the arts become total aholes...but not her.
And she keeps politics away from her art....they constantly give her a hard time because she won’t bash Trump.
She doesn’t openly support Trump, she just does not criticise him....but the left-coast demands you have Trump hatred in your heart.
Actually from what I’ve seen she goes out of her way to be apolitical. She does all the obligatory stuff almost every mainstream quote unquote entertainer at her level of fame does with generic LGBT support. But far more than others she refuses to make political statements for the longest time refusing to call herself a feminist (don’t know if she’s folded on that yet) or denounce trump. It could be simply brand name protection as she tries not to come down on either side of the aisle but she has come down like a pile of bricks on those who threaten her business interest but its a start.

Except for your last sentence, the rest sounds like guilt by association. Not everyone who works in Nashville is a lib, even if their work forces them to work directly with that guy. Taylor is a step ahead of most celebrities by taking the Elvis route. “I’m just an entertainer, man.”
Taylor is a good and kind woman with sound judgment.
She’s refused to denounce Trump despite the huge pressure on her to do so .

It's good to be able to hit from both sides of the plate. A lot of teams will pay highly for someone with a good average from both sides.
