I always laugh when I see these chiefs and sheriffs wearing 4 stars.

Did they come up the ranks, Bird Colonel, Brig. Gen, Major General, Lt. General, to reach 4 stars.

What about the Podunk police chief with 4 stars and maybe one or two sergeants in the whole force.

Even Gaddafi of Libya had enough sense to only call himself a Colonel.
