There was a score, but not a traditional one. Subtle, but it very much added to the intensity of the visuals. I have parts of it on one of my playlists. I enjoy it.
The sound illusion that makes Dunkirk so intense:
The traditional music score is so overpowering that IMHO it distracts from many of the scenes.
I may have been so intent on the story that the score never registered with me.
