More Democratic voters than Republicans have cast ballots ahead of next months primary elections in Texas, in what some party officials interpret as a new sign that a blue wave is building ahead of the midterm elections.
The Texas Secretary of States office said 168,000 voters had cast ballots in the Democratic primary in person or by mail in the states ten largest counties through the end of Sunday. By contrast, 138,000 voters had cast ballots in the Republican primary.
It is the first time in a decade that Texas Democrats have turned in more ballots than Republicans at this point in the early voting window. And its the first time in 12 years that Democrats outpaced Republicans in a midterm election year.
The fake news never stops.
Texas is about as blue as the sun lol
Sigh.
These are primary elections. Get it?
When the opposing party holds the WH, the other party’s primaries take on all sorts of importance. Much higher turn out.
Remember where we were in our primaries in 2010 or 2014? There was no energy or turnout at all on the D side . . . cuz they had their guy in the White House.
BTW, most of the TX races have the R running unopposed.
Quit throwing your false accusations.
That doesn’t bode well, here.
The Dallas Morning News has glowing articles about democrats winning the state daily. I guess they forgot about their darling Wendy. There is a lesbian, Mexican, ex-sheriff of Dallas trying to run for governor.
Saw Beto on Tucker. He’s a radical lefty, but I have seen a few Beto signs in the neighborhood.
Prejudice is an affective feeling towards a person or group member based solely on their group membership. The word is often used to refer to preconceived, usually unfavorable, feelings towards people or a person because of their sex, gender, beliefs, values, social class, age, disability, religion, sexuality, race/ethnicity, language, nationality, beauty, occupation, education, criminality, sport team affiliation or other personal characteristics. In this case, it refers to a positive or negative evaluation of another person based on their perceived group membership.[1]
Prejudice can also refer to unfounded beliefs[2] and it may include “any unreasonable attitude that is unusually resistant to rational influence”.[3] Gordon Allport defined prejudice as a “feeling, favorable or unfavorable, toward a person or thing, prior to, or not based on, actual experience”.[4] For the evolutionary psychology perspective, see Prejudice from an evolutionary perspective. Auestad (2015) defines prejudice as characterized by ‘symbolic transfer’, transfer of a value-laden meaning content onto a socially formed category and then on to individuals who are taken to belong to that category, resistance to change, and over generalization.

Oh, and look up denial, it ain't a river in Egypt.
What part of TX are you seeing the Beto signs?
And my advice holds, if you reach out with a firm Texas hand shake you most likely will find a kindred spirit and a friend. But if you let your prejudice rule your actions, you will give your new neighbor the stink eye and make him an enemy.
My guess is that Californian needs some detox, and a friend to teach how to be a free Texan. It’s up to you.
Unfortunately, it might be too late for everyone.
Most populated states:
1. California
2. Texas
3. Florida
4. New York
5. Illinois
By 2030, all of these may be blue if not sooner. It’s really going to be hard to turn back. 3 of the 5 are already solid blue.
In 2005, Texas became a minority-majority state.
The other minority-majority states are California, Hawaii, New Mexico, perhaps one other. Florida and Arizona are close to that as well. People can deny it all they want. There are already enough Democrat votes in Texas to flip it except some folks don’t want to vote for the dreaded Democratic platform, same-sex marriage, abortion and so on.
Governor Abbot was talking about this as well, that it should alarm all conservatives, there goes, “oh, this is a bs article from the hill”.
Demographics is destiny.
Dallas
I never vote early. I vote on election/primary election day just as I always have.
Donald Trump needs to go after this vote fraud. Look what Chicago mayor is doing with illegals.
So you’re suggesting liberals in CA really hate high taxes and liberal policies so they opt to move to Colorado and then turn around and demand higher taxes and liberal policies?
Ya think anyone buys that?
