After reconsidering his decision to retire in recent weeks, Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) says he will not run for reelection this fall, per Politico. Corker announced last year that he wouldn't seek to return to the Senate in 2018, opening up a war of words with President Trump — though the two have recently patched up their relationship.

Republicans need to nationalize this election. Trump should hire Newt to explain to the RNC and those who are running how to do it. Run on immigration (#1 issue), trade and taxes, and they will gain seats. Maybe even come up with a new Contract with America explaining what they will do if they get control, with Trump’s rep as a promise keeper to back them up.
The deep state has told him that he can do more damage to Trump by not being beaten in a primary. He can just shoot at him from the wings while still pretending, like Kasick and he who shall not be named, that he is a republican.
