I must be tired. Or hungry. Or both.
I saw “borders, lasagna.”

If he does run, he might do better than expected.

As a U.S. Senator, how would Savage lower California state income taxes to 9%?

He’d be a mixed bag. Strong on language, borders, and culture, weak on socialist economic policy.
Much better than Feinstein. Any day and twice on Sunday.

He is another side of California, a very long-time San Francisco resident. Heck, he is a graduate of UC Berkeley back when it was a credible school, even worked with/for Timothy Leary. Some Californians might not like his politics today, but he is a side of California that would be great to see raised in a campaign. Would he do it? Would he be competitive in a state overrun with run amok liberals and illegal aliens? Would he want the hassle? He is 75 years old, by the way.

I wish him well. The entertainment factor alone would be worth a $200.00 donation to his campaign (and I don’t even like the guy).

I hope he does it, but he’ll have to run as a Democrat to win.

Would Feinstein even want to debate Savage?
To: bitt
Sounds more like a state senate platform.

I have long contended that Savage is a fraud. I listened to him on KSFO before he went national. From Wikipedia (yes . I know it should not be used as a source butm what the hey):
The rejection by publishers of his 1994 manuscript about illegal immigration and epidemics prompted Savage to record a demo tape with a mock radio talk show about the contents of the work. He mailed this tape to 250 radio stations in an attempt to change careers and become a radio talk show host
He never anticipated that he would be so popular as a "Savage"
Smart, entertaining, at times obnoxious, but IMHO he is a caricature, not an individual who really believes what he preaches.

That should get him around 10% of the vote in California.

Weiner doesn’t have the temperament to hold political office. He can’t even talk to a person for a minute before yelling at them.
To: bitt
He needs to drop a truth bomb so big on that state!!!

“...get rid of the needles, feces and trash off the streets.”
Would voters fifty years ago have ever dreamed that a candidate for office would have to utter those words while campaigning?
They would have thought it would have meant the nation had been destroyed and the end of civilization.
Maybe they would have thought correctly.
