I don't want him to resign. His crime of allowing 17 innocents to be slaughtered is much too severe to let him just resign.

I want him to be dragged through the streets before he is hung, drawn and quartered. (Figuratively, of course.)

If he resigns, it will be all too easy to sweep the root causes of this Charlie Foxtrot under the rug. They need to be exposed.
