Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts is encouraging the National Rifle Association to hold its annual convention in his state after one of Dallas' top elected officials urged the group to find another location.
Ricketts said in a tweet Friday "We want your convention in Nebraska. Nebraskans love our constitutional rights!"

Perhaps the NE governor needs a clue that NRA support is not universal in his state since the bank in Omaha is cancelling their contract for processing the NRA-affinity VISA card. And, for the poster thinking these companies got botted, I fully agree this is a very likely scenario.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, First National Bank of Omaha, Avis Car Rental, Allied Van Lines, Budget Rent-A-Car, Chubb, Delta Airlines, Hertz Rent-A-Car, MetLife, North American Van Lines, TrueCar, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Symantec and United Airlines.
from Sarah Palin’s twitter these are the companies that don’t support NRA anymore
First National Bank of Omaha conspicuously excepted ...
Devil has to be yucking it up over this.
Because the Bank of Omaha, which provides the card, is breaking its agreement with the NRA. That is why!
oK, thank you
NRA had a great convention in Atlanta last year. Our lib mayor kept his mouth shut and let the Convention Bureau do its job. Large welcoming signs in the airport, protestors (the few that showed up) kept a mile away, attendees warmly greeted at the convention hall.
And Atlanta made at least $50 million off the convention.
Its like blaming the AAA when a loon purposely uses a car as a murderous weapon.
Or blaming the AMA for all the cancer deaths.
First National Bank, you can shove it. As dfwgator said about Dallas, big mistake, big mistake...HUGE!
I’m not a politician but I am sure we would welcome them to Oklahoma City.
What is the date of that convention?
Check into Reno for a convention site.
Thanks to shifting demographics, all of the big cities and the Rio Grande valley have gone over to the dark side.
Do you think the state will go red? Rush has predicted that.
The big cities are overrun with libs. They have enough voters to elect tax and spend nutjobs and like clockwork, the people who make the world work leave for the suburbs and small towns. Austin used to be common sense conservative a long time ago.
I left Houston in 1990 and never looked back.
Dallas has been invaded with too many turd worlds so is now a liberal stronghold.
Avis car rental? I use them exclusively for work travel. When I sign my receipt to
tomorrow it will include NRA Fan by my signature.
Well, you could always get an NHRA card and cross out the "H".
All big cities are RAT.
