The Democratic rebuttal memo to the Republican House Intelligence Committee memo on alleged government surveillance abuses was released Saturday afternoon.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., acknowledged its release at his appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference, at about 4 p.m.
"It's just posted," he told American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp, quipping that the committee website was probably already crashing due to high traffic.
Democrats say their memo was written as a rebuttal to provide greater context to a Republican memo that was released earlier this month, which outlines abuses by the FBI and the Justice Department against the Trump campaign.
Although the Republican-led House Intelligence Committee voted to make the Democrats memo public earlier this month, President Trump refused to declassify it, citing "significant concerns for the national security and law enforcement interests."

Schiff only wants to obfuscate...
Recall that the footnote the dhimmis were touting only makes a claim there MIGHT BE some political element to info contained in dossier, not that the funding of the document was HRC and DNC.
"Give me what I want, or more witnesses will die,
more children will be given the Schiff-Standard rape,
and I will leak more intel to America's enemies."
So the defense is that the DOJ lied about the fact that they were lying about a pack of lies fabricated by a couple of liars.
not a “CLEAR” repudiation... so there could have been a repudiation, just not a clear one. How cloudy was it? Was it partly cloudy, just not quite clear maybe? Maybe it was a cloudy repudiation... yeah that’s the ticket. /s
Haha, that’s probably the exact text. :D
The worm Schiff did everything possible to impede the committee, even to the extent of charging Nunes with an ethics violation.
The trash he just released gives the media whores something to latch on to in response to the truth.
Gosh, but these people are pure evil.
So they had other troubling issues that required investigation, such as the issues surrounding the FBIs paid stooge Page who was posing as Trump campaign official.
I hope that a rebuttal to this reply is posted shortly.
Released on a Saturday in the middle of the afternoon...after 2 years of trying to hang Trump with the implication of collusion.
Yeah, That’s normal...
LOL!
I hate Twitter but love Trump’s tweets.
LOL I can’t listen to her.
This memo is a non-denial denial in the best Nixonian tradition.
WTG, Dems. Keep making Tricky Dicky look like a piker!
Slightly off topic but on a related subject - ever since the Republican memo was released, have the Democrats/Propagandists ever revealed what part of it was a threat to national security? Remember, that was their justification for trying to have its release blocked. Now that it’s been released, have they ever pointed to any portion of the memo to back up their claims? (e.g. “See. The first paragraph, third sentence reveals ****** which will now seriously harm national security). Or did they just move on, hoping people would forget their blatant lie?
The purpose of the memo is to rehabilitate the FBI/DOJ application for FISA warrant, to justify the application, and to show how its contents were not in any way misleading to the FISA magistrate.
Hey, they have to compete with the curling competition at the Olympics.
Nunes is pretty good about making a timely written response. He knows the subject material like the back of his hand. Might take him a few hours.
well, the first paragraphs seem to have already convicted Page of crimes without due process.
It also neglects to mention that Page was a paid employee of the FBI when he was ‘questioned’ in Mar 2016. So, if Page was an employee, and he traveled to Moscow three months later, was he traveling as a paid employee of the FBI?
It also states that the FBI never paid for the salacious dossier. Isn’t that incorrect?
(now on to the rest....)
