70 yard kill or disable with a 9 mil is a hell of a shot.
Let’s not forget that it diverts the killing away from the children, which SHOULD come FIRST!!
“70 yard kill or disable with a 9 mil is a hell of a shot.”
Growing up out in the sticks we had occasional problems with feral dogs. My older brother used to tell me that a .22 rifle was insufficient to stop a dog of any size. Then, twenty years later, he killed a medium size dog at a distance of AT LEAST 70 yards with one shot from a .22 revolver.
By the way, there are no feral dogs in the area now, only Coyotes which were unknown in South Carolina when I was young. They run in packs like wolves and bring down adult deer in some cases.
" I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters."
