Libelious? It is obvious the swamp has tentacles in corporations
Tax payer paid privilege is a powerful disease that does not want to see rights of the average Joe to hold those privileges accountable
You caved!
What additional information did you learn from the newz that would affect your design to replace your old wired system (other than to obediently cave to the MSM, I mean)?
Nah. There paying the bills.
Look for a quid pro quo from some government or uniparty entity. My bet is SimpliSafe would not have done this without one. Follow the money.
In moronic logic people blame the NRA not the fbi and those not enforcing the law.
Check out OOMA for home telephone. They have similar devices for home security. I recently changed from Vonage to OOMA. I noticed that OOMA has home security systems as well. I might be moving my home security to OOMA from SimpliSafe.
My bet is they simply caved to Masshole social pressure. I have no inside info, other than living in Taxachusetts.
Being Hahvard MBA's, I'd have expected them to have the intelligence to relocate to a more favorable venue before starting their business venture.
But hey! Relocating is work. Otherwise, I'd be somewhere else. But, I'm lazy!
Consider ARLO camera system, they work great.
Is SimpliSafe private or public? If the former, fewer people to have worry about justifying this to. But I don’t think for one minute that any company is doing this gratis.
Big questions: Is offering/giving these companies preferential treatment/contracts in return for the boycott an illegal act? And if so, criminal, civil, both?

You don’t need a gun. The security system will go off. Twenty minutes later 4 armed (maybe) police will show up and they will stand around outside admiring the sound of the alarm. What more do you need?
I was going to buy, now I'll look at alternatives.
We need a list of these cowards so we can show them that WE are on the sane oh and economic side. Snailmail letters are very effective. Write them carefully as they will be passed around the boardroom. You want to be succinct, erudite, and persuasive.
I was considering using their service, but just contacted them and told them no way.
I just did a little research and found Armorax very interesting to replace my simply safe. Check their website.
I zinged them...going to a gun show soon..so I might get more NRA members to email SimpliSafe.
Me as well.
Agreed......
I just relayed a rather poignant notice to SimpliSafe urging them to reconsider angering a goodly portion of their business subscribers.
If they persist I too shall be looking elsewhere for a competing alarm system.
