He’s a coward, a nothing-burger, a waste of money, he will go straight to hell on his last breath, he is a zero, he is a bigger problem with stopping killers than taking away the gun of me, a widow woman with a small gun for safety.

And no, maybe I wouldn’t know how I’d react under the same circumstances but what’s the point?

IF...just sayin’....IF I had huddled in a corner of the building while young children inside were being systematically murdered....I would be....

Problem with that argument is the some of us do know. While many people just watched, I stepped in to an asian gang beating the crap out of another asian kid in broad daylight in the international district of Seattle. They were all high school kids, but if you saw that kids face by the time I yanked enough of them off him, you’d see it was pretty darned serious. A cab driver and me were the only ones that did anything. And we did stop it.

I didn’t carry at the time and yes, it was risky. But you sort of get a “let the chips fall where they may” attitude.

I was on a bike ride with my wife and, yes, I was wearing ridiculous spandex and a helmet and bike gloves and shoes.

I’m no hero. I did what needed to be done and didn’t really think about it.
