CBS News confirmed this image of Scot Peterson (from 2015).

Peterson resigned today after being suspended without pay. He was an armed sheriff's deputy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who Sheriff Israel says stayed outside and never went in to confront the shooter.

There ought to be a demand for a serious soul searching before making these assignments.

Also, training in high stress environments is a great asset and can be observed for indications.

Personally, I’d like to see it tied to performance. Just how many ‘life threatening’ situations do you put yourself in....graduated scale if you were.

Writing out speeding tickets for 40yrs., IMO, doesn’t require the $$$ pension. Though, I’m also against the 2x, 3x dipping w/ ‘overtime’, sports events, etc.

Is there a video showing that he didn’t enter the school and where on campus he was when the shooting started? Some campus are huge. Not arguing but Dems always feed someone as a scapegoat to keep the heat off them.

Our ancestors delt with ‘guilty beyond a shadows of a doubt’ cases by protesting at the jail in a very democratic way. With torches, rifles and a rope. Swift justice was done, a quick trial ans sentence carried out.
