Danish prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen in a Twitter post on Wednesday encouraged US president Donald Trump to listen to calls for action over gun crime in the United States.
The message from the Danish PM came as the US president listened to pleas for gun reform on Wednesday in a White House meeting with about 40 students, teachers and family members of victims, including from the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where 17 people were killed on February 14th.
Do not intend to interfere, but allow me to give a Danish perspective: please, respond to the request of your youngsters who demands (sic) gun control. Dont accept the world record in school shootings. Make America great and safe again! Rasmussen wrote, tweeting the same message again shortly afterwards to correct a spelling mistake. [ ]
Trump has said arming teachers could prevent school shootings like that which left 17 people dead in Florida.
Journalist Marie Louise Albers of Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten noted this in the commentary thread underneath Trumps tweet, writing that it was not exactly the answer Lars Løkke had hoped for.
No, it was not, Rasmussen tweeted in response to Albers.

Denmark needs to tend to their muzzie perps.
Youth are gullible.
Shut up Lars before I give you an atomic wedgie
Foreign interference...i expect indictments. (sarcasm)
“Do not intend to interfere...”
Yes you do, Denmark. Go pound sand and mind your own damn business.
Your tiny country is over run with muslims....your people could use their own Second Amendment!
hey danes- how about YOU listen to the young victims of muslim rapes in your country?
The young people I know say: “Don’t f** with my guns.”
Why? They eat laundry soap and text on their “smart” phones all day. They’re morons!
Yes listen to a bunch of snowflakes that live their lives glued to their smartphone and cry when things don’t go as they want.
“Do not intend to interfere...”
Then don’t. MYOB.
PM Rasmussen was listening to the wrong young people in the U.S.A. He should try listening to the sane ones who have better parents.
Our Second Amendment is our last line of defense and our most effective defense against foreign occupation of our country. A foreign nation could invade but would not keep our country. This is not Iraq (for example). Our terrain is different. The size of our country is different. Our constitution is different. Our people are different.
Is The Second Amendment Worth Dying For?

Listen to them?
I think not.
Good point. Why should I listen to morons full of self esteem but no brains?
No, there’s a reason we have a kids table at most Holidays....
Danes need to mind their own business......
Listening means only one thing to a lot of political hacks, I have read their books and essays and still won’t change my mind, but in their view I still haven’t listened.
