Full TITLE:
Tearful Lindsey Vonn MISSES OUT on gold in the final downhill of her amazing Olympic career, then hits out at the 'savage abuse' she has taken from trolls for her strong anti-Trump views
So?
cry me a river. She can join Tiger as has beens.
The by product of not teaching your children how to act when you lose as well as win.
There was a time I was indifferent or might have even rooted for her. That was a long time ago.
“I hope that instead of tearing people down we can build people up.”
Then keep your big yap shut and ski.
The Snowflakes will tell her it’s Dark Gold so she feels better.
Here’s my story, sad but true ....
Lyndsey Vonn does not represent me
Liberal tears. The more heartfelt the better. Sweet as wine.
Where was “uplifting” when you were dissing our President. What have you done for your country?
Not when you disrespect our President, you insufferable bitch.
“and I hope that instead of tearing people down we can build people up.”
Oh like you did for the President of the United States of America?
One thing I noticed in her interview was that is was all about her. She was proud of herself. She did mention what a great group of girls she skied with and that they all had to overcome injuries. But I did not hear any gratitude for the treasure that people gave up so she could ski as a career.
Maybe I missed it. I just don’t see her as a good person.
Good.
Did she expect not to get any push-back over her comments? Shut up and ski.
What I’ve noticed most about athletes like Vonn and Adam Rippon is their inability to leave politics out of the equation. Sports are supposed to be a non-partisan activity that rises above it all.
Vonn, Rippon, etc. decided that they wanted to use their platform as a Olympic athlete to say whatever was on their mind. I have no time for that. I’d have said the same if a conservative Olympic athlete threw out a negative comment about President Hillary Clinton.
Also, these athletes need to consider this little fact. While they do reserve the right to say what is on their mind, they shouldn’t be surprised when people out there react in a negative way to their comments.
“’Sports is supposed to be about uplifting this is the Olympics”
Right. It’s sports and the Olympics. Not a soapbox for liberals who hate our President. Got exactly what she deserved and that is giving her too much credit.
“’I think the most important thing about social media is to be who you are and remember that everything on social media lasts forever. Social media can be used in a very positive way if you are a good person.
‘But I feel recently it has taken a different turn and I hope that instead of tearing people down we can build people up.”
Right, Lindsey. That’s why we remember what YOU said...
From Breitbart...”American Skiing sensation Lindsey Vonn made headlines earlier this week when she said she would represent the people of the United States, and not President Trump at the upcoming Winter Olympics in South Korea. Vonn also said that she would not visit the White House if invited.”
She got her participation trophy. Why be a greedy it?
i’m listening to people talk about her “amazing career” while pravada-nbc is calling her “one of America’s most iconic winter olympians”...she won three medals in two olympics- 1 gold and two bronze...
how is that “iconic” or amazing??
