I am quite familiar with MK Ultra. There was a congressional hearing on that program back in the 70s, IIRC. The Unabomber was but one of the victims of this program.
I sincerely doubt that they really quit their experiments, more likely just renamed it and kept on trucking. So heck yeh, I think that it should be investigated-but whoever does it better have top notch security until the results are published.
