It's a spring-loaded rifle stock that, when activated, pushes the rifle's trigger against the shooter's index finger causing it to fire. Recoil cause the rifle to bounce back and forth against the spring, repeatedly bumping against the shooter's trigger finger. It sort of simulates machine-gun fire. Sort of.
