This is all about the 2018 elections. Lots of hair on fire here that is totally unnecessary. The gun-grabbers have been planning this campaign carefully since at least last year and are jumping on their chance to execute it. Give the man some room.

The people who are criticizing him over the gun laws are never going to vote for him no matter what he does.

The NRA supports banning them as well. Trump is just playing politics because he is a politician now. He has no vested idealogy in these issues. He also has bigger fish to fry than worrying about bump stocks.
Who said anything about dumping Trump? Knock of the hyperbole. We can say this is a lousy cave. We don’t need retarded cliches inferring we demand perfection. It’s an issue I personally want to see no surrender on. Period.
The NRA is agreement with Trump on this one. I agree the left is just trying to get a foot in the door. I’d be more concerned if he announced he wanted to start banning “assault rifles”.
The media and the rest of the dems are doing all they can to get public opinion into an avalanche demanding more gun control. Trump is trying to steer the avalanche in a direction where it will do minimal harm.
I think this just encourages the media even more, like sharks smelling blood in the water.
Wow. Banning bump stocks. This is the most horrible, devastating, rights-depriving news I have ever heard. I mean, how will we ever fend off a massive, despotic takeover of government without those?
