Claims she was groped by Clarence Thomas at a dinner party where she was seated next to him.
But I just love this: obvious bias reporting that is so far from the truth it is almost laughable:
Perhaps that is a reflection of the conservative movements reluctance, going back decades, to inspect the rot in its power structure, even as its pundits and leaders have faced allegations of sexual misconduct. (Liberals of the present era possibly in contrast to those of, say, the Bill Clinton era have been much more ready to cast out from power alleged offenders, like Al Franken.)
I think I am going into the furniture business- I predict that from now on there will be rise in the sales of vastly oversized dining tables with glass tops - so that there’s enough room to seat each person beyond the arm’s reach of another and so that if anyone want to stretch they would be deterred because there would be no way to grope discretely.
For small homes there could be boothables- tables with hardware cloth beneath separating each seated person so as to prevent thigh-grabbing and leg-rubbing... and an optional clear tabletop barrier system like the dividers in a prison meet and greet room only with a small slot to slide dishes through as they are passed around.
