To really screw up takes the government.

When I see the NY Post headline "Mr. President- You Must Act" I feel how sad and pathetic many Americans are. They are whining for some far away power to protect them and manage every aspect of their lives. They have given up all responsibility for themselves and their community.

How many school teachers, or local cops knew this kid was dangerous? What did they do? And yet they demand the FBI, or Airforce, or someone in the Feds somehow save them from their own apathy.

We have laws preventing mentally ill people that pose a danger from obtaining guns. What good does it do if the law isn’t enforced? Individuals can’t enforce it, they have to rely on those that have the authority to do so.
