You say Sessions has removed a lot of deadwood from the DOJ. Who has he fired? I’m not aware of a single person. There have been some resignations, but where is the evidence that Sessions had anything to do with prompting them?

On the contrary, the DOJ and FBI are still infested with Obama holdovers like Page, Strzok, Ohr, etc. Why hasn’t Jeff fired those people?

You erred about Sessions’ freedom to investigate the FISA court matters. Sorry, but the FISA court abuse is directly tied to the 2016 election. He can’t touch that, as long as he remains recused.

Speaking of that, why, after a solid year of the Mueller witch hunt finding zero evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the Trump campaign, hasn’t Sessions rescinded his recusal and ordered Mueller to wrap up his fruitless quest?

Seriously. Answer me that.

Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions asked Friday for the resignations of dozens of politically appointed U.S. attorneys held over from the Obama administration, the Justice Department said.

Sessions wanted “to ensure a uniform transition” to the Trump administration, spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said in a statement.

“Until the new U.S. attorneys are confirmed, the dedicated career prosecutors in our U.S. attorney’s offices will continue the great work of the department in investigating, prosecuting and deterring the most violent offenders,” she said.

The order affects 46 U.S. attorneys; 47 others have already stepped aside. Ninety-three U.S. attorneys are the top federal prosecutors in 94 districts. (Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands share a federal prosecutor.)

I do not agree that the FISA investigation is an area that Sessions cannot oversee. The questionable FISA actions appear to have predated the campaign.

As to your last point I am not touching it with a ten foot pole. I do not believe it is a real issue. No offense meant there are always different opinions and on other issues we are most likely in better agreement.

Jay can’t. This mueller farce(coup) has gone on for a year now and Sessions WON’T UN-RECUSE HIMSELF AND PUT AN END TO IT. (Why would he? He set the coup in motion...)

That tells you everything you need to know about that southern fried back-stabbing rat bastard.
