Our youngest daughter and hubby adopted two siblings when they were 2 and 10 months, now they are 13 and 12, have had problems relating to biological mothers drug use and the effect it had on them in the womb, have had lots of therapy and will have more.
My daughter was getting her nursing degree as her other 2 children were older but she put that on hold to be in the home as her two adopted need her full time.
I feel blessed to have raised such a selfless person who was willing to give up so much to give to babies the love and attention they need.
Don’t know what kind of parents the Cruzs’ were but I know it couldn’t have been easy for the mom to be left to raise a 6 and 4 years old when her husband died.

I have a renewed sense of urgency to spread the Good News.
You were blessed to have a daughter who could take in children who have problems. I know myself I never could have done it.
