Raising the age of gun ownership to 21 for everyone? Hmmm. I guess one could argue that the 18 year olds of yesteryear were drastically more mature than today. You’d never get a bunch of 18/19 year olds today storming the beaches. Our molly coddling societies seem to have extended teenage years clear through to 25.
I wasn’t dancing, must have been Nikk. She was probably dancing watching Americans win gold at the Olympics. :-)

I don’t agree with raising the age to 21. There are crazies of all ages, and if a person aged 18 is considered an adult and responsible for themselves they shouldn’t have a constitutional right taken away from them. I know plenty of young people quite capable of gun ownership, my grandson included. And he has a right to defend his life. Better process for background checks for criminal and mental illness.
Ah - I guess that’s a little more reasonable.

Yes, they didn’t wait 39 times & then did nothing. I just can’t get over that - 39 visits & NOTHING. If you were having a loud party & your neighbor called the police, the part would be shut down on the first or second call.

AR as in assault rifle? They are already illegal. Assault weapons has different definitions depending on where you live, and the definitions have been made up by politicians and gun control activists.

I was visiting with a neighbor who was all excited about the “17” school shootings this year. 17 school shootings and 17 victims in Florida. 17, 17, 17. Of course, out comes TIME magazine to prove the allegations. Needless to say, I went off on the lies and fake news and what garbage TIME is. The left knows they can say whatever they wish to get their agenda out there to the sheeple voters and they’ll never be forced to recant the lies. How convenient they can trash Republicans this close to the elections. The shooting happened 6 days before early voting started. The left can’t be any more pleased.
Sheriff Israel refutes that, he gave Dana a hard time when she repeated 39 red flags, said they were’t all visits.
I’m not defending the police on this but I’d like to know where the 39 comes from as we were led to believe they were actual visits.
Many lies refuted, a good speech in general. I heard Trump tweeted support for the NRA during speech.
Would that mean the military can’t issue weapons to their young recruits?
Back in the day, Mr. b couldn’t buy ammo for his police weapon. He could carry it, shoot it and load it with ammo from the stockroom but was too young to purchase the ammo for it.
That’s sort of like on tax free days for back to school, shoes are tax free but not shoe laces.
